Coatings & Membranes
GeoTacGeoTac is a peel and stick waterproofing membrane that is used in paving, bridge decks, waterproofing and other construction applications where moisture barriers are required. GeoTac is composed of a polymer modified asphalt waterproofing membrane adhesive that is bonded to a non-woven polypropylene geotextile. The adhesive layer adheres to most surfaces and provides a moisture barrier on contact. The geotextile protects the adhesive surface from damage during paving or other construction activities. GeoTac comes in various sizes to accommodate crack repair in parking lots to wide widths for bridge decks.

Propex Petrotac®
Petrotac® is a factory pre-coated version of the Petromat interlayer system manufactured in strip form for the treatment of local pavement distress such as over joints, cracks, and potholes. Petrotac® has a rubberized asphalt coating with a tackifier allowing the simple peel and stick hand application.
Pavement Overlay Membrane
Crafco GeoFilm (special order) is a peel-and-stick waterproofing membrane. It prevents water penetration and subsequent moisture damage.

- Crafco Geofilm Peel & Stick
- Crafco Geotac Peel & Stick
- Propex Petrotac® Peel & Stick
Typical Applications
- Box Culverts
- Retaining Walls
- Abutment Back Walls
Petrotac® is thicker than the Petromat system allowing it to absorb more stress, making it more appropriate over slightly active joints and cracks. The factory applied rubberized asphalt coating forms a continuous moisture barrier and therefore Petrotac® is approved in many states as a bridge deck waterproofing membrane. However, wide area waterproofing is not achieved if only random strips of Petrotac are used such as when strip treating a joint pattern.
